Invitationals

Yesterday (or rather two days ago, as it's 4 am), I had Science Olympiad invitationals against several of the best teams in the country.
Bloody amazing.
3rd, 6th, 7th.
Funnily enough, I'm most proud of my seventh. That event...I studied for literally all of two days before competition, went in with another first timer, did what we could, and boom, got seventh out of 52 teams and national champions and runner ups.

What really amazed me, though, was that I found an honestly nice person. I'll just call him ER, but essentially he found me after I was deathly bored and offered to let me watch Rotor Egg Drop with him. So I went, and he stayed with me for two hours. Then he was like, "I should go home..." but I was like, "No! You should stay for the awards! They're fun!" so he did.

So I thank you, person, for having the patience to deal with me for four straight hours. Thank you for the entertainment provided, the horrible dancing, the conducting, conspiracy theories, physics talk, and whatever else happened.

N t'inquiete pas!
